Hi Bryan, I've been in touch with Mike Campbell-Cole (the previous owner) and he has emails from Fred Opert showing he imported to the states BT40-16 in 1973 with the Hart built BDA1600cc on carbs.
I'm going down to North Yorkshire in the next couple of weeks to meet Mike to go through all the history he had on BT40-16 & BT41-32 and also to chew the fat on other racing stuff. I'll let you know the outcome.
