Perhaps my confusion with pushing and pulling explains why I wave flags rather than "help" in assembly or on the startline!
I guess that I'd end up getting run over.
The two retirements both seem very natural - one is a fixed term office (carried out galantly in trying circumstances by a long-standing Committee member) and the other has put in a long and valuable free service to the club. I look forward to their replacements publishing their stategies for taking the club forward.
