Love Monaco (to watch) as here is just something about it - we see much more detail up close of the cars being wrestled around and that may be it but I think actually a combination of things that just come together and have to be prepared j-u-s-t right to make it all work.
Weird that it is Friday-Saturday-Sunday this year rather than the traditional Monaco Thursday-Saturday-Sunday - really threw me leading into the weekend that did.
Oh and yes the current big, lumbering cars are clumsy here - it feels like an FW08 or something similar would dance around them and drive away (it wouldn't, just the way it feels) but it would be a shame to lose this location for a Grand Prix.
Qualifying gave us some unexpected outcomes (as it often does here) not least of that being 2 of the top 3 being stopped at the far end of the circuit at the end of Q3 - bet that had a few PR types scrabbling to deal with getting them back and getting interviews underway quickly.
