BoP could decrease the performance windows between the platforms but at this stage, teams are so proficient with the Oreca and able to extract every last tenths out of them, it's probably not gonna make much difference. Sean Creech Motorsport in IMSA will find out very quickly their Ligier is not up to par (despite the team's and Barbosa's best efforts).
Better to wait till the next generation cars.
