The production records in the book show that only two RP4's were exported to the USA (none to Canada) when new. Chassis RP4/11, the last example built in 1970, was sold to Eric Hauser. Chassis RP4A/2, from 1971, was sold to Bob Smith.
The semi-monocoque chassis was made from 16 & 18-gauge mild steel, clad in NS4 aluminium panels.
