As a race I think it was quite bad. The track is terrible for racing, but it also looks like it would be glorious fun to drive. I am quite divided about the effect of DRS at this track. There was basically only one corner where anything happened, at all. That's a sucky track. Also, if you managed to get DRS opened, that was the end of it. It felt so very artificial it was boring. It reminded me of that race earlier this year when DRS wasn't working, and Sainz drove like it didn't matter. That not only tells me Sainz is a marvellous driver and that this would have been Monaco without the DRS that felt more artificial than ever.
After *****ing and moaning about that, I *loved* to see Alonso back at the podium. That raised the race experience up to a 5.
