It is right to say that they are not as quick running at 40mm, but it is a level playing field because all the F3 cars etc run at 40mm too. I know from putting a well know driver coach in my Tatuus that they are about 1.5 seconds slower when at 40mm. But in Mono you can run much grippier tyres, there is no air restrictor, free exhaust, no cat etc.
I would imagine with a 16v clio engine and in the right hands this would be a very good car to have in mono.
