Without going into massively irrelevant detail, both the security team and marshals round the circuit were painfully aware of the people coming over the fence and did what little we could to prevent it. From my distant but extremely clear perspective over at the Esses, it was an inevitable game of whack-a-mole.
Having spent all 3 days doing different things in different places (Coppice, the start/finish line and the Esses) I felt like something was missing this year but I'm damned if I can put my finger on what it was.
I know it wasn't oil, there was plenty of that
