S5000 on saturday was captivating, be even better if the engines were not covered but all shiny chrome.
TCR, short races good field lots of action, a few known names and some unknowns, fun cars, kept me interested
As much as i love GT3 and GT bathurst 12 hour, the thin field, unknown drivers and long races had me reaching for a book.

Production cars SHOULD be a good category, but its a ramshackle collection of cars, some very old, in different classes, most with only a couple of cars in it. Feels like its a club class for entrants "everyone gets a prize", geared to get anyone who fancies a go. A bit like the local senior cricket or footy club.
Yet the field was still small and the races far too long; might have been fun for a 10 lap dash.

I thought NZ got it right with their supercar supports.
