Chris Roden should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
On the basis of the website and my cajoling, I already have a very large party of people who are planning to be there, and will pay for admission.
None would even dream of visiting a VSCC event normally, they just want to see Schumacher's runabout at close quarters and can't/won't afford Bernie's prices for the GP.
It can only be a good thing for the club that these people (of all ages) are planning to come along, who knows they might just catch the illness that we all (happily) suffer from.

I wonder if there are plans for TV coverage and/or a video?

(Thank goodness for cut and paste!)

I agree with Mr B that these events should only be run if there is a benefit to the club membership. The Old PO seem to be making a huge effort to organise a real jamboree, let's give them a chance to show that it can make a profit
a)large enough to justify itself, and
b)to subsidise other more appropriate events.

I suspect that if a P&L were produced on an event by event basis we might get a nasty shock. I would hate pressure to be brought to scrap certain core VSCC events simply on the basis of economics, in that they don't break even, accountants should not be running the ship.
