According to Bonham's (
https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24876/lot/351/ ), the CTC 24E was bought by Robinson from Lotus, and then sold on to Alan Mann Racing. It started life as a Ford press vehicle powered by an FVA, before being used by Ford (Lotus) for racing.
According to the blurb, during it's original racing period, the propulsion changed and it was fitted with both a Lotus twinky and a V6 before it ended up with a BDA during it's last restoration before being sold last year. At the time of the sale, a BDA was installed.
