This was demonstrated by top gear some while ago showing that cars with higher top speed.
They used
- Vectra VXR
- Mondeo ST220
- Mazda 6 MSP
The vauxhall was the quickest in a straight but around the track the mazda was quicker by about 3 seconds(IIRC)
