This circuit was to be located in the PRC, but the SS blacklist has made that entirely unappealing. Therefore, the circuit ended up being 'constructed' in the mountainous Heping District of Taichung city in Taiwan (ROC).
The Southernmost sequence of corners is called the Dragon's Tail, and there are two places marked H and L denoting the highest and lowest sections of the course.
