I collect 1/18, 1/43 F1 and Saloons, i have nearly all of the Onyx F3 Dallara's [cannot get Bernoldi's Renault..], i've also got quite a few Moto GP items, at the moment my collection stands at around 180 pieces. Probably my best model is the 1/18 scale 1996 Minichamps Schumacher Ferrari "My first win for Ferrari" complete with rain tyres, which i bought brand new. On CStudios website it would cost over £300 to buy now...... i'm in two minds whether to cash in and upgrade my kart engines with the money i'd get.............. I've also got a lot of early Senna stuff including a nice 1/43 VC Models version of his 93 McLaren on a Brazilian flag base.
Model fairs such as Donington and the NEC are good places to pick up bargains if you are just starting out.
