40 raced at Silverstone with one drop-out on Sunday. Bit spaced out on occasions but some tight pairs racing, especially winners Cameron Jackson (sat race) & Ben Mitchell (Sun race) with Max Bartell close 3rd each day- tis a big track the GP circuit, but terrific to drive.
Big cook-up courtesy of Barbara Dix with 70-80 mouths to feed and a very entertaining performance put on by Roger Arnold trying to ride a mono-bike - almost successfully...daft bugger.
Next up, Brands GP circuit, full grid with reserves, better Formula Ford circuit to race on so no doubt some great racing will be on show.
Themed party (we're thinking of all dressing up as 'old gits') organised at Croft (beginning of August) in celebration of one of our racers 'coming of (a certain) age'.
Reduced track time dictates one race each day - disappointment, but great event and even better track. Bring flat caps, braces & brogues...
