Perhaps he's upset that Gil is getting injured...
Refresh my memory...
When Penske left, did he actually trash CART? I know that he sat on the fence for awhile and his decision to desert upset many of us. And I know that he built up the IRL as best he could. But did he ever actually trash CART, ala Ganassi? (I'm just trying to decide whether or not I would welcome him back or not!)
