We don't all agree with marshalling that way, but if we choose to work an event by a series that uses these teams, we must follow their rules for marshalling.
There are fewer of us these days and tracks have taken to encasing themselves in fencing, making it harder for us to get to the cars from our stations - or back into a safe position before more cars arrive. The mobile crews have proved themselves to be a valuable part of the organization in many cases (sometimes not). Unless we can increase our marshalling numbers sixfold, mobile crews are here to stay.
