If you watched the replay, you will see that Sheddon's front wheels were alongside the front door of Edwards' car but she just closed the gap. Sheddon had not choice but to take to the grass on the inside of the corner whilst Edwards continued to turn in to him, and it was at that point that they touched.

I'm sorry, but, in my opinion, that was down to Edwards and very poor situation awareness.
