Without injury he could conceivably have won every championship between 1991 and 1999.
Yes, he had the best bike but he developed it and he was also the only one who could really tame it.
Not sure Rossi has had the stiffest competition (either riders or bikes) and we’ve yet to see what he can do when he is injured or really put under pressure.
