I'm not so certain that Mercedes would come back to Sportscars after their flying car tricks. Yes, I appreciate that the odds of a "GT" flying are much less then the LMP's and Real GT1 class were, yet that black eye is still there.
I would think that if we were to see Daimler/Chrysler again, it would be a new Viper and now an Uber Coupe from Mercedes.
