I remember being there for the last race of the CanAm season in 1982. It was miserable that time of year too. I had a terrible cold, it was foggy and cool, and I was working on a car I'd never laid eyes on before, a Ralt RT2 driven by Bill Alsup. Pretty good result for Bill to finish 7th from 18th on the grid, but by far the most miserable racing weekend I ever experienced.
