However, if you look at the EBC, they prefer the opposite!
Drilled EBC discs are not drilled the whole way through - so they are more like intermittent grooves I suppose.
Notably Brembo as well as Porsche do cross-drilled discs, Performance Friction do not.
Porsche still use cross drilled discs on their latest, very high performance cars intended for road/road and track/track only.
I think the jury is still out on this; although it seems cross drilled discs they may have some advantages they will also crack quicker.
