phoenix, are you certain that Porsche discs are completely trouble free? Another point is that like most things German, maybe they are vastly over-engineered for the job in hand.
Another point is that in my series one guy who has run up to 24 cars similar to mine has drilled discs on all of them and in the 3 or 4 years they have been running I haven't seen or heard of one failure compared with one of my grooved discs cracking on one occasion.
