Looks like here's another contender for GTS then. I bet Factory Five sells more of these $20K kits than Panoz will sell with the Esperante 2.0. People already race the Factory Five Daytona Coupe. Roush will even sell you a sealed Coyote motor for $25K and then just stick in a run of the mill T6 transmission (you can even just go nuts with an X-Trac transaxle and paddleshift). By the time you are done making it into a racecar, no more than $90K invested.
If we are going to allow these specialty one off cars, might as well get with the program and put in a real classic. This thing even has proper center lock wheels (not those terrible 5 lug units) and Michelin tires.
