Changeable conditions; dry qualifying followed by rain at the beginning of the first race, and during most of the second, made for two challenging rounds of Scottish Classics yesterday. Class A victory in race one was taken by Michael Longstaffe, MG Midget, one second clear of Paul Bowers, Fiat 128 Coupe. Iain Mitchell, Vauxhall Nova, recovered from fuel pump problems in race one, to Class A victory in race two.
Cope and Brown had two class victories each, in classes B and C respectively. Elliot Paterson,
Morgan +8 won class D on both occasions and John Kinmond class E.
The XR2 category was won twice by Duncan O’Neill from David Reilly.
