There were a number of drivers down to try the STARD (electric) Fiesta including Chris Hoy, Matt Neal and Tom Onslow-Cole. Liam Doran and Hal Ridge also drove the car later in the day.

No doubt it is fast. Can't see an electric Supercar inspiring as much passion as a combustion engined car, but I don't think it is unfeasible to think that an electric car could be a National Championship winner in the right hands.

Few regulars plus a handful of new cars on track (most of those were BTRDA), plus Andy Scott, Tristan Ovenden and Kevin Procter. Didn't get a chance to speak to Procter, but I hope he is back this year: he spent most of the day throwing his Fiesta round Paddock bend.
