I was at a meeting tonight and the hosts had a 2K cup car on site. They did their research and got exactly what they wanted for just $1500 as an ex dealer trade in.
The car looked superb but they had put in a lot of time tidying it up, but they not only have incredibly high standards, but considerable expertise.
The driver (who races another classic car) claimed it was just as enjoyable as driving his regular car and was adamant that the driving standards overall were certainly more respectful of other's machinery than the higher echelons. That says a lot.
