Does anyone know what the rules are regarding situations like this? In IndyCar, if qualifying can't take place because of bad weather, the grid is set according to the championship points table.

Pretty sure Autosport are correct, failing a quali session, the grid is determined by the final completed qualifying session.
I think the way the points are connected to team revenue rules out reverse grids.
