Update for HFF Drivers.
Following Government directives, on May 13 at an HSCC Board meeting on our Corona Virus actions it was felt there may be an opportunity to go racing.
It can only happen subject to the circuit’s ability to satisfy MotorsportUK’s virus anti-transmitting guidance criteria. These cover marshals, officials and many other considerations for a safe infrastructure to gain a racing permit.

The office has increased its computer abilities for online entries and would like your commitment to gauge grid numbers and event feasibility. Starting with a possible race at The Brands Legends SuperPrix in July. ALL 2020 race entries are now open.
A lot of thought and action by the club has been put in place as far as social distancing is concerned and these will be fully reported in the next HSCC Magazine.
Those 2/3 of you in our over 50’s Championship may have an opinion and I hope you will help the HSCC to decide on the way forward by either entering or not – as you see fit.
It is obvious that our younger contingent will be raring to go (if I was – I would) but for the majority, the decision lays in your hands.
Full renumeration of entries will be made if events are cancelled and no money will be taken until each event cut-off date. Please book the events you wish to do.
It is not clear at this stage whether our invitation race at Ireland’s Mondello Park will go ahead and it is believed the main F5000 race (now without 15 cars from Aus & NZ) will not happen.

15th - 16th August. Ireland's Mondello Park. HFF Non-Championship ‘away race’ Invitation at their Historic Race Meeting. ‘A’ race format single race on both days. Subject to confirmation and entry numbers. We hope discounted Ferry fees may be available, watch out for announcements (see also

29 - 31 Aug HSCC HFF & CFF Oulton Park Gold Cup. HFF Two ‘A’ race format + Qualifying over 3 days. 38 cars per grid. CFF; 2 races + Q on BH Monday. BIG Northern Classic Car Event. Beautiful Parkland setting.
19 - 20 Sept HSCC HFF & CFF Cadwell Park. HFF A & B format on both days (subject to entries) 30 per grid. CFF; 2 Races over 2 days. Lincolnshire’s exciting and challenging ‘Mini-Nürburgring’ parkland venue.
24 - 25 Oct HFF & CFF. The BRSCC Formula Ford Festival Brands Indy – Our ‘Finals’. 30 car grid. One race each day. CFF; 2 Races over 2 days. We join with the world’s best FF drivers and show them and UK’s Formula Ford enthusiasts just how good we are.
In most cases at each meeting there is an allowance of 20% additional reserve entries in qualifying, entry fees returned (less £25) for non-starters.
Subject to each Championship Regs & entries; all HFF entrants are eligible to enter CFF & Heritage rounds.
Understandably, our HFF Paddock Hospitality will be not attending until 2021.
There will be no Dinner & Dance in November as it is felt that ‘social distancing’ will be a problem on the dance floor and at the bar!
Without knowing the racing climate for the 2021 season the suggestion is that we have five ‘main event’ races and two provisional meeting.
