True, some are styled to look taller than they are, the Toyota CHR is a fairly dwarf like 1555mm high for a crossover.
I perceive the front aero as an issue, although some SUV/ crossovers have less bluff front ends than others. The MG does not look like it will slip through the air with minimum of effort. So if you had one of these fitted with the TOCA engine (The only option as MG have no suitable engine I am aware of) then it's going to be significantly less aero efficient, and therefore slower down the straights than, say, the slippery #HARD CC (Possibly the most efficient drag coefficient of the road car versions of current BTCC racers). It would give JP a legit reason to grumble if he were piloting one!
