I purchased this car along with 11 others from Brian Chatfield. IIRC it was then fitted with an S14 M3 engine. Among the many parts was a slide throttle from a BMW M10
engine, unlikely it would have such a basic engine fitted in 1990 but possible I suppose. More likely the basis was the 318is engine...
