You can do the math to see what was actually paid out. If a non-eligible entrant finishes in 1st for example, that doesn't get paid out, and the teams below don't get bumped up.

CHAMPIONSHIP BONUS FUND:
Privateer Bonuses are only available to non-manufacturer supported Full Season Entrants and earned as follows:
$3,000 potential per race based on;
$1,000 for starting and completing 50% of the distance of the overall winner.
$1,500 for taking the checkered flag on the race track and having completed at least 70% of the distance of the overall winner.
$ 500 if on the same lap as the class winner.
Privateer Bonus money earned per race will be accumulated for each individual car and paid after the season ends to those eligible cars which were
entered as a Full Season Entrant and participated in all 2011 American Le Mans Series events.
