I'd say 2005-2009 and no, I didn't miss that but five seasons aren't much, are they? Then the World Championship slowly was less and less interesting, manufacturers were going away and it was harder and harder to get attention from new ones. Now there are no manufacturers and WTCR seems more interesting but the calendar sucks and I reckon BTCC or DTM (let alone Supercars) have far more die-hard fans. WTCC/R just lacks sort of identity.
