they sound nothing like a V12 IMO but everyone including the viewer is entitled to their opinion. they sound different and it's good, at the track you can tell each different teams motors/exhaust system has it's slightly different sounds when it comes past you but you can pick the Kelly car a mile off and it's great to have something different like that.
when these headers first came out last year i thought they sounded like **** but it's grown on me and i actually really like it now.
