Reading from 'Australian Motor Racing Year 1984/85', Dick states his engines:
* 'don't develop much useful power beyond about 7,500'
* 'has shown 7600 at Bathurst, equivalent to 174 mph, and "will do that all day"'
* 'will also cope with a momentary 8500 or so, say to avoid a gearchange and beat somebody else into a corner'
