Why not? Because of too many V6 convertible rental car versions in Hawaii? Because the standard suspension is too soft (remedied by going for the not for Australia Shelby GT350 model)?
Because it's too heavy? People have doubted me, but I measured the Mustang exhaust material as 1.9mm thick, vs 1.3mm thick for a Commodore exhaust and 0.9mm thick for a Honda exhaust. If that is indicative of the way Ford (over)engineered the whole car, it is little surprise to me that the S550 Mustang came in
way over the weight target Ford set!
