Peugeot's, Toyota's or Porsche's "timelines" should give pretty good idea how far down the line they should be by now
if it has been greenlighted internally.

To me this has always sounded weird. Yes, the engine might be the same, but nothing else is. Quite expensive testing and also risky, since they'd have to also actually race.
