Although Aston may make somewhat sense, IF they wanted to enter Super GT as well. With the new regs, it'd be much easier to modify cars to let them run in the other series.

Aston seem to be doing everything from 2020 don't they? DTM, LMP1, F1 anything goes it seems. How many of these projects actually become reality is another thing entirely of course.
