I really don't remember any of that first meeting, but I remember about 90 or 91 when the Super Trucks ran. We were sitting right up the back on (clockwise) turn 4 when a truck slammed the wall and showered the crowd in concrete.
I'm pretty sure it was the last time trucks ran on the Thunderdome.
The HQ's were always a riot to watch.
