Alonso will be fine and everyone will forget about it, Mehri is a decent driver and stands a reasonable chance of keeping his drive if Manor find some extra cash.
The real mess is the Sauber situation. It seems that they accepted money from three, maybe four drivers, but only had two seats to offer. Bills had to be paid and presumably the legal situation goes out of the window in that case. They will have hoped to muddle through somehow and avoid this, but now if Sutil is in the same boat as VdG won't he consider the same course of action?
