yeah so the first one only 2 doors and was so bad Clarkson did donuts in it without touching the steering wheel, so bad was the torque steer.
2009-2014 you couldn't buy any in Australia.
From 2015 on you could buy the VXR, but again it was 2-door only. First it was a Holden, then it was an Opel, then it was a Holden again. Now its a Peugeot I guess.
And the Golf GTI from any of 3 generations that hail from this period in time thrash the Astra in every measurable metric, as does the equivalent Focus of the period.
