ZB fast out of the blocks, Ford teams whine about composite panels.

Scotty Mac gets on top of his car and shows blistering speeds while 888 and others struggle to figure out the ZB.

2 races later and now the ZB has a technical advantage.

If DJRTP had 2 drivers of equal ability, and PRA were not lost in the wilderness, things might be very different.

What is it about Scotty Mac that seems to make him a teammate killer? A bit like Frosty too, has a car set up a certain way nobody else can follow it.
For my ten cents with it is his ability to drive a car with a loose rear end on it without burning up the tyres or suffering under brakes & on turn in. Gives the car a straight line advantage from less wing relative to his team mate, especially in qualifying which is half the battle.

As for the disparity in aero up until now the difference was most pronounced at Phillip Island. It was talked about then but got lost in all the carry on about composite panels. The ZB's could pull out and pass in a way the Falcons couldn't get near.

The 888 cars appear to have excellent shocks for riding kerbs. Which is a lot about Adelaide and Sandown, less so Bathurst. Wanneroo is always about tyres & thankfully they will be resurfacing that over summer.

Anyway Bathurst is 888's to lose. The only hope for anyone else is Whincup has another brain explosion or SVG has a failure/accident. Both of those things occurring in one race would be highly unlikely. Judging by the way Lowndes leapt out of SVG's way at Sandown he wont be a factor.
