I don't really think part seasons really work - ok to stick an extra car in for an event with a specialist at the wheel (like Pannizi on tarmac for example) but swapping drivers in and out doesn't really seem like a great idea to me.

Mikkelsen will do the whole season along with Neuville while Sordo and Loeb will do share the third car, leaving Paddon out.
I'm not a fan of it either but it is somewhat of an unfortunate situation. This season Hyundai had contracts with both Sordo and Paddon and couldn't leave one of them out since they decided to bring in Mikkelsen. Next season Loeb won't do the whole season and Sordo got a before Paddon.
There aren't enough cars for drivers who belongs in the WRC IMO. The repercussions of other teams (VW leaving and now Citroen only fielding two cars etc) has turned things upside down for drivers.
