not really, verstappen came 3rd in Euro f3 in his first year and won a load of races. This guy came 9th in us f4 after 2 years. Don’t get me wrong, I thought that verstappen could have done with a year in gp2, but he probably wasn’t going to be completely out of his depth skipping a rung.

My comment was about his age, rather than on track achievement.
