Can't remember... I think it was Superkarts by Manic Media. I still play it from time to time
. Then there were a couple of decent top-down games made by Qbasic amateurs, I'd play them for ages until I found an F1 game- GP1. I still play that too, isn't that sad? I'm in a newly formed online league for it and we're currently short of a few dozen wannabe F1 racers so please feel free to relive the nostalgia
