This is a memory jogging thread. I raced at Aintree quite a few times during the early 80s in a Royale RP26 (FF1600). If i rememeber correctly the officials were housed in an old bus on the pit straight. It was all very friendly and a lot of fun. On the topic of Mike Wrigley, i am sure he still holds some sort of lap record on the circuit ?.
