RedZedMikey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
NAME: RedZed Racing
SPONSORS: Coke, Gulf, Stillen, Waverley Nissan, Red Heads, Momo
DRIVERS:
#300 Michael Caruso ($900k)
#23 Simona De Silvestro ($500k)
#9 James Moffat ($600k)..... (Totalling $2,000k)
MANUFACTURER: Nissan Altima

We at RedZed Racing are ecstatic with our debut in the ASFC in 2017, having spent most of our history in Sports/GT cars. Our primary sponsor is Coke, across all three cars.

#300 will run the traditional white “Coke” twist over red livery, with support sponsorship from Stillen and Waverley Nissan. US aftermarket parts specialist Stillen, owned by expat Kiwi Steve Millen, has a strong Nissan history, and is proud to announce their entry into the Aussie market, teaming opening up a retail centre within Waverley Nissan, formerly owned by Garry Rogers. ASFC scrutineers are expected to spend a lot of time in the #300 garage, ensuring that the Stillen supercharger and turbocharger kits do not find their way on to the Altima. At this time, however, bribery negotiations have not yet taken place. Coke have agreed to allow the #300 to run a tribute livery at Sandown to honour the Millen run Nissan 300ZX class victory, and 4th outright, at the 1994 Le Mans 24 Hour. As a tribute to Antrodemus, Millen will add a stylised Kiwi to the Stillen logo, which will appear across the bonnet at all races.

#23 will also run the traditional Coke scheme, with Redheads firelighters coming on board as secondary sponsor. This announcement is sure to light a fire under the whole crew, and strong results are expected from this team. Simona will be dyeing her hair red before each event, and we hope that the broadcasters will refer to this car as the Redhead RedZed Nissan ...
We would also like to categorically deny the rumours that Julia Gillard and Pauline Hanson will be spannering on this car.

#9 will be special - Gulf Petroleum are about to announce their entry into the Australian fuels market by doing a deal with BP to take over their purchase of the Woolworths petrol stations. Following year long discussions with Coke, the #9 will debut at Clipsal with a hybrid Gulf/Coke livery, with an orange twist over pale blue. Gulf colours on a Coke layout! Coke and Gulf will also use Clipsal to announce a new energy drink - Gulf “Super Fuel” (Rocket Fuel and Jet Fuel were already taken). Manufactured by Coke and sold exclusively through Gulf service stations, the cans will also use the same Coke/Gulf livery. Coke and Gulf were pleased to have driver James Moffat on board, and both companies welcomed the number 9. That number won the 1968 Le Mans 24 Hour for Gulf on the GT40, and has significance for Moffat and Coke, harking back to his father’s famous Mustang as well as the 1973 ATCC winning GTHO and Bathurst winning XA Falcons.
