Iain (and others of course) any recommendation for the ignition timing? Fuel is 102/FIA. We have a 2 litre Bertone Grp1 - ave power 143 hp - accepting easily 40° degrees, making the 32° of our Pinto quite conservative to say the least. I've a friend running an appendix Grp2 Mustang 289, with at least 36° fixed timing. Its seems Grp 1,5 Capris are in the region of 35/39° (not mine!) with heron design heads. None have a knock sensor…
