Not sure how you define a sprint or endurance race.Certainly there are quite a few ladies in US short oval racing.Milka Duno won a GrandAm race,but someone claimed male co-driver did most of the work!
Best female in F1 was Desire Wilson who won an Aurora british series race and was competitive in her only run in FOCA race.
