I'll have to disagree with you on the V8 Supercars, the only similarity they share with the road going cars is the badge on the bonnet. The Commodore has had a 98mm chop in the wheelbase and length, and the Falcon has had similar. NOt a single panel is shared with roadcars, nor are the engines (or any relative) available in either road car.
